Irrespective of the deployment strategy chosen, Tally Ascent ensures minimum administrative and maintenance overheads.

Tally Ascent is available in variants of Tally Ascent Enterprise and Tally Ascent Remote which can be deployed at the Head Offices/ Main Locations and Regional Offices/ Branches.

Tally Ascent can be deployed as Client Server, Web Server, and Terminal Server basis.

Tally Ascent has inbuilt Web and Mobility support with SMS alerts. Critical information can be accessed through WAP devices.

Multidirectional Synchronization

While you deploy Tally Ascent in an occasionally connected distributed manner, the application synchronizes once the connection resumes. Synchronization of data can be scheduled for instant sync on connection, day end, week end or any user defined intervals.

Multidirectional synchronization ensures master data changes viz., on a price list, tax structure, production priority, currency conversion rates et al to move from the Head office/ Main location to Regional / sub locations. The transaction data moves from Regional / Sub locations to HO/ Main location and in selective business requirements move to other regional / sub locations.

Interoperability:

As a growing organization you would have invested on some applications which are so unique to your business. By embracing Tally Ascent you can carry those unique applications along in an integrated fashion. In the globalization era, you may have a Parent company having a different system that need to talk to your system, in a reporting level or transaction level. You may have an OEM Partner who wants you to act instantly once they decide on their production schedules.

Tally Ascent has a simple but effective way to integrate the data. While Tally Ascent complies with the web services protocols, the ease at which it handles data movement to and fro is amazing. Some of the interop data standards Tally Ascent has adopted are, XML, SOAP & ODBC. The emerging business reporting language XBRL is a standard feature in Tally Ascent .

Tally Ascent is available in variants as Tally Ascent Enterprise and Tally Ascent Remote.

Tally Ascent Enterprise:

Normally, enterprise license is used in head offices. Clients can install and use a single LAN at the main location with unlimited number of users of the software product inside the LAN. If the enterprise license is deployed on a web server or a terminal server, the license shall cater to multiple branch offices/sub locations as well.

Remote license is used in regional offices. Licensing is possible only if the customer has the Tally Ascent Enterprise – LAN license in the main location. Tally Ascent Remote licenses can be installed with maximum four users in a single LAN at a sub location.
